Parts Sales Counter / Service Writer
Must have a basic understanding of power equipment parts and operation. Knowing the difference between a starter and a solenoid would be helpful. Basic knowledge of some of the basics will rapidly increase the speed of the training process.
Ability to operation most outdoor power equipment and a forklift. Loading and unloading of customer equipment will be necessary.
Must be able to work as a team with all employees to ensure a positive customer experience for every customer.
Assist customers with their parts & accessory needs whether it be over the counter, on the phone or through the shop.
Greet customers with a friendly, professional persona whether in store or on the phone.
Assist customers with locating the proper parts or accessories for their equipment.
Inform the customer of current stock status and expected turnaround if not in stock.
Make accurate and detailed workorders for customers bringing in equipment for repair/service.
Process customer payment for their purchase.
Pull parts for customers orders and shop technicians.
Keep work area clean and organized.
Must have prior experience with computers and have the ability to function in a computer driven environment.
Work schedule:
In-season (Feb 1st thru Oct 31st) is 7:30-5 (4 days a week), Saturday 8-12
Off-season (Nov 1st thru Jan 31st) No Saturdays 8:00-5pm

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
