DIETITIAN
Shorehaven has provided high quality care to seniors since 1939. We have maintained an excellent reputation and are proud of our record of outstanding surveys and our Five Star rating. We are seeking a Registered Dietitian to join our team, or to provide services as a Consulting Dietitian. We are flexible about the schedule and days of the week, but estimate the total hours to be about 30 per week.
Our Dietitian works closely with our nursing staff as well as the food service department to ensure the nutritional needs of residents are met. This position performs assessments, participates in care conferences, and participates in menu planning, especially as related to special diets. The Dietitian provides food service educational programs as needed, acting as a resource to staff.
A bachelor's degree in Dietetics or related field and achievement of the Registered Dietitian credential are required. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills and works well independently or in collaborative situations. Previous experience, especially with the senior population, strongly preferred.
All employees are eligible for free membership at our onsite Fitness Center with pool and may begin to participate in our 403(b) immediately with the potential for an up to 5% match.
If you prefer to join us in a Consultant role, we would be happy to consider that arrangement as well.
Located on the west side of Oconomowoc, we have a beautiful campus on Lac La Belle.
We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
