Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry, particularly in food preparation and kitchen operations.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items in compliance with established recipes and standards
- Ensure the quality of food meets the set standards for taste and presentation
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Monitor and manage inventory levels of ingredients and supplies
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation procedures
- Collaborate with the dietary department to meet special dietary needs
- Assist in developing new menu items
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a cook in various settings such as fine dining, food service, or similar environments
- Knowledge of food handling, preparation techniques, and kitchen equipment operation
- Understanding of food safety regulations
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency with knives and other kitchen tools
