Job Description:
The biller/coder is responsible for the appropriate coding, billing and collecting activities necessary to obtain full reimbursement and payment from third party payers. This role reports to the business office manager and works within the business office team to support the accurate coding billing and when necessary appeals process to ensure accurate reimbursement
Supports the philosophy, objectives and goals of the Surgery Center. Eye Surgery Center of Nashville is a fast-paced ambulatory surgery center committed to producing the highest quality experience for patients and their families.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
-Minimum of two years relevant experience with billing, coding, and third party payer collections
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Teamwork and collaboration is a must!
- Medical Coding certification strongly preferred
