Sales Engineer
Resilio is a Silicon Valley based startup that creates and sells scalable data management solutions to global mid-sized companies and large enterprises. We're looking for an experienced Sales Engineer or Technical Pre-Sales Solution Architect who is ready to move into a hybrid technical sales role.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage customer product trials, including setting scope, timelines, and resources.
- Deliver product demonstrations and engage in technical discussions with existing customers
- Assist the sales team by establishing technical credibility, and qualifying prospects
- Work with the Customer Success team to ensure a successful transition after a customer makes a purchase
- Assist customers in deploying the software via phone and Zoom
- Maintaining customer relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Maintain current knowledge of Resilio products and supporting technologies including operating systems, storage, and networking
- Advise prospects with regard to best practices for software, network configuration, server configuration, resource allocation, and ongoing operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Requirements
- Customer service focused, results-driven, excellent interpersonal skills
- 3+ years of extensive knowledge of Windows, Linux, macOS, and Android
- 3+ years of extensive knowledge of desktop, server, laptops, and peripherals
- Solid understanding of storage systems and performance considerations
- Advanced networking knowledge including VPN, subnet configuration, and firewalls (router configuration a plus)
- Ability to interact in a professional, responsive, and timely manner with all levels of users; skilled interaction in a scientific-based user environment
- Proficient with command-line tools
- Proven organization and project management skills, including the ability to prioritize and work independently
- Strong verbal and written skills, especially the ability to present to prospects and generate solution proposals, architectural diagrams, and integration specifications
- Experience with implementation and support of SaaS software is desirable
- Desire to expand skillsets into the sales cycle is a plus (with additional compensation opportunities for these candidates)
