The Plant Manager leads all manufacturing functions, granting site compliance, engaging the team, seeking production and cost efficiencies, and being able to deliver high-quality products. Drive a cultural change in the site towards performance excellence, being a role model, and setting goals for the site.
This position reports in the matrix to the CEO and General Manager of Global Operations. This is a full-time role, and constant presence on-site is required.
What You Will Do in Your Role
As Plant Manager, you will be leading, including but not limited to, the manufacturing, warehouse, engineering, and maintenance departments.
- Build a trusty and constructive environment within own team, peers, and company leadership.
- Lead efforts to continuously improve EHS.
- Drive team towards manufacturing/operational excellence, defining related performance metrics. Maintain key performance metrics, taking overall responsibility for Operational performance. Partner with operational leaders to oversee operational effectiveness for driving metrics.
- Develop and drive talent management to create a “preferred place to work” culture.
- Work with the Business Operations team to proactively manage inventory and execute the Supply Demand Planning.
- Ensures equipment technical improvement of the site by proposing and leading site capex projects.
- Is responsible for costs of own area and capex spending plan for own site.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or relevant technical discipline.
- A minimum 5 years’ experience as a site manager in an ISO chemical plant environment.

- A successful track record of being able to establish and achieve performance goals and objectives for EHS, quality, cost control, manufacturing efficiency, and process development.
- Broad knowledge of standards of manufacturing technology, equipment, EHS, organizational development/management, quality standards, and employee relations.
- Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing ERP/MRP Systems
Must pass Department of Homeland Security background check, pre-placement physical and pre-employment drug-screen.
