We at PEI Group are looking for a Controller – US Subsidiaries to join our welcoming, diverse, and growing team based in New York. Successful candidate will be supporting the finance department through the continued growth of the business in the US.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Support and train the current team based in the US in their day-to-day operations of accounting for 4 subsidiaries with total revenue of US$60m which culminates into preparing monthly board pack and ensuring clean books.
- Get a handle over the current tax position – federal, state and sales and provide expertise for in house undertaking / support outside counsel.
- Ad hoc project work.
- Support the business for any acquisitions made in the US and lead the integration into our processes and systems.
- Continuous process improvements
Requirements
We are looking for someone who is;
- Looking for part time work – 1-3 days a week.
- Has worked in the corporate environment in a company of similar size.
- Has experience training CPA Candidates.
Qualification & Experience
- CPA Registered in New York
Personal Attributes
- A self-starter and able to motivate oneself with limited oversight.
- Comfortable working with/assisting non-finance staff
- A team player who is happy to collaborate with various departments across the organization
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
