Job Purpose: Support company operations by maintaining office systems and supervising staff.
Report directly to the Clinic Director.
Duties:
-Maximize patient care, clinic growth/stability and maximize team effort.
-Supervise staff including CAs and Interns. -
- Maintain office services by organizing office operations and procedures including controlling correspondence, designing systems, and assigning and monitoring administrative functions.
- Fulfill human resources role including assisting in hiring and evaluating staff; maintaining company office policies, procedures and employee manuals; confirming compliance with employment laws.
-Responsible for office bookkeeping including preparing payroll; monitoring vacation schedules; overseeing bonus programs; and accounts payable; sales tax.
- Manage all Patient Accounts
- Review patient cases and handle all issues with “patients in need of special care” (i.e. financial issues, trade concerns, special patient arrangements).
- Enter Patient EFTs in Payment Systems
- Maintain office statistics (Vital Signs) and keep Doctors informed by reviewing and analyzing reports; summarizing information; identifying trends.
- Maintain knowledge of insurance and medical codes and terminology. Handle all medical billing and insurance issues including Medicare.
- Manage monthly Superbills
- Call on patient health insurance benefits
- Maintain office operating system (PayDC) including all updates.
- Monitor office expenses and order all necessary office and medical supplies.
- Act as office liaison with outside vendors, including professional and technical vendors.
- Provide weekly summaries to Clinic Director regarding all office activities.
- Keep office running efficiently!
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
