Overview:
We are looking for a cook in our Italian restaurant. A good candidate for us has experience making pizzas and pastas and used to working in a fast paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items in compliance with established recipes and standards
- Ensure the quality and presentation of dishes meet the restaurant's expectations
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace
- Monitor food stock levels and place orders as needed
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient food production
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation procedures
Qualifications:
- Proven experience working as a Cook in a restaurant or catering environment preferably Italian
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen setting
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Familiarity with various cooking techniques and equipment
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and efficiently
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in high-volume kitchens
