N.A. Structures is a team passionate about the planning, design, engineering, manufacturing and management of complex architectural projects. Our know-how (Skills) in commercial and residential construction is supported by 3D Building Information Modeling (BIM). Factory-built structures are made primarily of lumber, engineered wood and steel.

Our head office and production plant are based on the outskirts of Quebec City, close to the airport. Our business network is currently located in Quebec, Ontario and the USA, mainly on the east and west coasts.
N.A. Structures is expanding rapidly and we are looking for skilled technicians.
Primary Duties:
Generate a BIM model from various file input from architects, engineers, general contractors, MEP, foundation & doors and windows
Coordination between trades
Converts design drawings or models to shop drawings
Prepare, check and send all documents necessary for production and shipping (cutting list, bills of materials, etc.).
Follow up on plans with project managers.
Prepare and participate in weekly meetings in order to coordinate the planning and distribution of work.
Works within a team that includes directors, project managers, quality control and fabricators.
Qualifications required
- Advanced technical training through the completion of a two (2) year trade/technical school program and five (5) years of experience in CAD Design/Drafting, or Equivalent experience
- Associate's degree in Drafting and Design, or a closely related field and five (5) years of experience in CAD Design/Drafting
or Equivalent experience
- Knowledge of the Office Suite, Autocad and Revit software, Advance Steel, Sketchup, BIM 360
- Knowledge of the Building Code.
Knowledge:
Very good knowledge of construction products.
Recognized knowledge in reading plans and specifications.
Good understanding of the English language.
Openness to new technologies and ways of doing things.
Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, but also very detail oriented.
