As a Product Manager at Skin Laundry, you will:
Drive the development and advancement of Skin Laundry’s tech stack. You will oversee the lifecycle of tech solutions, working in close collaboration with the business stakeholders, Engineers, Product Design, and QA teams. The ideal candidate is a strategic and critical thinker with a demonstrated project management skillset paired with belief in continuous improvement. In this role, you will design and lead product decisions and delivery, monitor performance, and make recommendations for well-informed decisions, pivots, and iterations as opportunities are identified and prioritized. You are a kind, curious, and driven individual with a hunger to make a difference and passion for skin health.
To do this, expectations include:
- Act as the product person accountable for the end-to-end product development lifecycle. This starts with deeply understanding the problem space, to solution definition and scoping, to requirement documentation, to testing, to launches, and ending with monitoring impact and analyzing data.
- Influence and steer decisions related to Product Strategy. This includes advocating for focus on the right parts of the product with our team and communicating the impact and opportunity to stakeholders and leaders.
- Evangelize product process and mindset – planning, discovery, quality assurance, feedback loops, iterating, and data-informed decision making.
- Act as the voice of the customer, ensuring their needs and pain points are understood and addressed in product and feature offerings.
Expected Skills and Competencies

- Well-grounded in financial and operating frameworks with experience crafting and implementing simple, functional operating processes and understanding key metrics and business drivers in a growing company
Key Responsibilities Include
- Product Performance and Improvement:
- Partner cross-functionally with senior leads to deliver business goals and objectives
- Identify areas for product improvement and work with relevant teams to implement enhancements to maintain up to date roadmap.
- Monitor product performance through key metrics and customer feedback.
- Product Lifecycle and Development:
- Lead or be part of discovery phase to identify problems and propose solutions comprising domain, technology, and process knowledge.
- Oversee the product development process, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Create and maintain detailed product specifications, requirements documents, and user stories.
- Field Communication and Support
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and opportunities for innovation and iteration.
- Communicate product and feature launches in partnership with Operations and field lead teams, focusing on the why pointing back to strategy.
- Collaborate with QA, Operations, and IT to help troubleshoot any issues reported.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related technical field (Medical, Finance, Operations, etc.)
- 1-3 years of experience in product management and software development, and/or equivalent practical experience
- Well versed in Agile and SCRUM methodologies and principles
- Experience with external vendor relationships and integrations to support business needs
- Proven track record working cross-functionally with multi-disciplinary teams
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Excellent project management skills and attention to detail
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for skincare, aesthetics, and innovation
