The Warehouse Operations Associate will be responsible for day-to-day operations in a GMP Warehouse at the RTP CARsgen facility for clinical and commercial products. This position interacts cross-functionally with Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, Quality Control, Supply Chain and MSAT.
Responsibilities:

Receive, label and document incoming materials to support all areas of the company

Store and maintain inventory within designated temperature zones

Picking, packing, and staging of product for internal and external customers

Periodic cycle counts and inventory management functions

Monitoring and maintenance of liquid nitrogen and carbon dioxide supply

Serves as a hands-on resource in Supply Chain, being able to communicate to other departments

Assist the warehouse manager and warehouse logistics associate in collecting and organizing acceptance and material receipt documents, warehouse inventory records, and material request forms

Accurate documentation of activities in accordance with cGMPs

Adherence to all QMS, cGMP, SOP and EHS policies and procedures

Perform other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED
-
2+ years of previous experience as a material handler, warehouse, distribution, etc., required

1 year of experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry preferred

Required to work in ambient and cold room temperatures

Physical requirements include bending, standing for extended periods of time, and frequent lifting of a maximum of 50 pounds

May be required to work weekends, holidays, and overtime

Basic knowledge of cGMP requirements preferred

Basic computer knowledge (email, MS Office)

Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
