Music Auto Auction in Spring Hill TN is a dealer only auto auction. We are looking for Automotive Front Office Business Manager who under the direction of General Manager is responsible for leading the office staff to achieve organizational and leadership objectives. Through a thorough understanding of best practices, and industry experience, the Automotive Front Office Business Manager oversees administrative and operational functions creating excellence in customer experience, quality of work and service expectations.
We are looking for an energetic professional who does not mind wearing multiple hats to join this team driven organization. Experience in handling a wide range of administrative and automotive auction related tasks including titles, collections and dealer relationships. Able to work independently with little supervision as well as collaboratively. Well organized, people focused, and goal oriented with the ability to enjoy the administrative challenges of supporting a fast-paced office of an auto auction.
REQUIREMENTS of the Automotive Office Manager:
- Proven office management, administrative or assistant experience
- Minimum of 2 years of automotive, auction, dealership, or DMV experience, required.
- Knowledge of office management responsibilities, systems, and procedures
- Auto Title Experience
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Proficient in MS Office
- Knowledge of people leadership, administrative processes and management practices and procedures
RESPONSIBILITIES of the Automotive Front Office Manager:
- Manage day to day operations by developing and maintaining company policies and service expectation.
- Ensures operations and procedures are organized, variances are controlled, processes are reviewed and approved and that clerical functions are properly assigned and monitored.
- Hire, train, develop and motivate office staff members.
- Communicate effectively and appropriately with staff and customers.
- Ensure all employees under their direct report meet company standards.
- Ensure review of titles for negotiability and accuracy.
- Facilitate and ensure completion of all auction and sales processes.
- Delegate and redirect workflow, as necessary.
- Ability to support all job tasks for positions supervised.
- Conduct performance reviews and any required crucial conversations according to company standards.
- Employee scheduling, time and attendance management.
- Process information in a professional and confidential manner.
- Light bookkeeping and accounting
- Review of financial data, statistical reports, databases, and spreadsheets
- Plan and lead team meetings.
- Works collaboratively with Human Resources, Accounting and IT Teams.
- Maintain a professional appearance and orderly work environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
