Position purpose: Provide courteous assistance to patients and physician offices while scheduling and registering patients for procedures. This position is Monday-Friday 7am-4pm.
Job Duties:
- Work as a Medical Receptionist
- Answer incoming phone calls and handle or transfer to the appropriate department
- Greet Patients
- Optimize patient satisfaction
- Maintain Appropriate Medical Records
- Update forms as needed
- Schedule Appointments
- Process patient payments
- Ensures confidentiality of sensitive information and PHI
- Other duties may be assigned

Position Requirements:
- High School or equivalent
- Background in healthcare is preferred
- Background with Eclinical Works Practice Management System Preferred

Physical Requirements:
Must be able to sit for long periods of time. Must possess visual and auditory abilities to communicate with patients and staff. Requires gross and fine motor skills to stand, walk, lift, carry, push, pull, and reach. Manual dexterity needed.
Degree of Supervision: Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision
