Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the Preschool Food Program and Kitchen, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children.
- Perform cleaning and laundry duties as assigned.
- Maintain accurate meal count records, including attendance.
- Communicate regularly with parents to provide updates on their child's health and nutritional needs.
- Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations and health and safety standards.
- Manage the preschool purchasing budget, including purchasing supplies, food and materials.
- Collaborate with community organizations to enhance the preschool program.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a preschool or early childhood education setting is required.
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations. - Must hold a Food Manager Certificate from Texas.
- Experience in a preschool kitchen, hospitality or culinary industry is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and community partners.
- Previous experience in shift management or assistant manager role is preferred.

Bus Driver Experience Not REQUIRED, but DESIRED:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Bus Driver to join our transportation team. As a Bus Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to their destinations on scheduled routes. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong focus on customer service, and the ability to manage passenger behavior effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a bus and transport passengers to their destinations
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Maintain a clean and presentable bus interior
- Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the bus as needed
- Collect fares or validate tickets from passengers
- Provide excellent customer service and address passenger inquiries or concerns
- Communicate with dispatchers or other drivers to report delays or accidents
- Follow established routes and schedules to ensure timely arrivals and departures
- Ensure the safety of all passengers by enforcing rules and regulations
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Bus Driver or in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques is a plus
- Multilingual skills are beneficial for communicating with diverse passengers
- Experience with paratransit services is an asset
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor bus maintenance is desirable
Skills:
