POSITION SUMMARY:
We are looking for FOH Team Members who love to serve our guests and each other while upholding our standards and creating a positive, dynamic work environment for their fellow Team Members. The ideal candidates should be ambitious but team-oriented, ultra-dependable, honest and respectful, and passionate about delivering an amazing customer experience in a collaborative environment. You will be a part of a growing food and beverage program at Meriam Park with a supportive ownership group providing opportunities for growth and learning. You will be responsible for the FOH duties, to include cashiering, serving guests, cleaning and clearing tables, and acting as the “face” of our business with the support of the Director of Hospitality, the Managers and the ownership team. You will learn how to truly contribute to a great restaurant, and we will provide training and the tools you need to succeed and thrive in this position.
DUTIES (Including but not limited to):
· Greeting guests, and helping with menu questions.
· Correctly processing orders, and serving drinks.
· Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly equipment maintenance schedules.
· Understand and uphold the highest level of Customer Service
· Work with the Managers to ensure our guests are well cared for.
· Ability to consistently perform quality work, quickly, in an environment that is often full of distractions.
· Daily cleaning tasks.
· Be able to multi-task.
· Maintain a positive and professional work atmosphere.
· Stay abreast of trends within the Pizza industry.
· Communicate effectively with staff, guests, leadership, and owner group.
· Work well in a team environment.
· Nurture guest relationships and create a pleasant and inviting place to visit.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS &/OR ABILITIES:
· Minimum of 1 year of restaurant experience in the hospitality industry.
· Understanding of basic service, and how to ensure guest satisfaction.
· 2 years of Customer Service experience.
· Professional appearance and demeanor.
· Dependable, and respectful to others.
· Sense of urgency but attentive to team dynamics and customer service.
· California Food Handler Card is required, ServSafe a plus.
· California Responsible Beverage Service required.
· Pizza experience a BIG plus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND/OR PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
· Café
· Outdoor/indoor facility
· Must adhere to food safety and safety regulations.
· Needs to be able to bend, carry, and lift 60 pounds.
· Ability to bend, twist, reach, pull, push, lift, and perform repetitive motion on a regular basis.
· Stand on your feet for 8+ hours a day.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
