Mobile Phlebotomy Services of North Carolina is currently seeking Mobile Phlebotomists to work in Guilford, Alamance and Randolph County, North Carolina. In this role you will provide exceptional customer service, and perform skilled specimen collections from a diverse group of patients in skilled and assisted living care facilities. We’ll rely on you to preserve patient health and quality of samples. We’re looking for important phlebotomist skills such as presence of mind, people skills and attention to detail. Job Responsibilities:
- Travel to client location and draw patient blood samples, drive to and from multiple client locations, and drop samples off at laboratory or designated drop-off site.
- Follow safe and accurate blood collection procedures and processing of specimens, with a high degree of accuracy.
- Comply with applicable Federal, State and local regulations, as well as, all company policies, procedures and guidelines.
- Determine the right venipuncture method based on patient age, health etc.
- Find veins that are suitable for puncture and draw blood using sterilized needles.
- Ensure optimal quality of samples and correct labeling of samples.
- Answer patient questions and provide useful information.
Job Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Phlebotomy.
- Experience with effective puncture techniques.
- Understanding of proper patient identification methods.
- Knowledge of legal requirements about drawing blood, handling fluid samples and use of relevant medical equipment and material.
- Candidates must maintain a high standard of excellence with minimal supervision.
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.
- Reliable transportation and clean driving record.
- Reliable phone and ability to multi-task, handle requests and inquiries using mobile technology.
- Able to pass a standard background check.
- Patience and presence of mind.
- Certification in Phlebotomy or extensive on-the-job training
- Experience in a hospital, home health, or lab setting is a plus.

This is a 1099 Contractor Position.
