We are looking for a professional and customer-service oriented store manager to help oversee daily store operations. As store manager, you will be responsible for maintaining high operational and organizational standards at the store. You will be responsible for training new staff and creating a pleasant store environment for customers and staff members.
Candidates will also be expected to undertake some administrative tasks such as monitoring inventory levels. You will also be asked to develop and implement business strategies to meet sales goals and improve store performance.
Our ideal candidate should be motivated by customer satisfaction, and be willing to work to improve satisfaction scores and create a better overall experience. You should be an excellent communicator and have leadership skills. Candidates should also have interpersonal de-escalation and problem solving skills.
Our store manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, making sure it runs smoothly and effectively. Duties include:
- Delivering excellent service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Motivating our commissioned sales staff to meet sales objectives by training and mentoring
- Creating business strategies to attract new customers, expand store traffic and enhance profitability
- Hiring, training and overseeing staff. Deal with staffing issues such as interviewing potential staff, conducting performance reviews, as well as providing or organizing training and development
- Tour the sales floor regularly, talking to colleagues and customers to identify or resolve urgent issues and to ensure all shelves are properly stocked and the sales floor is clean and orderly.
- Responding to customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner
- Undertaking store administration duties
- Overseeing stock room/warehouse staff to ensure products are properly put away and inventoried
- Overseeing building maintenance by delegating cleaning and maintenance duties to the appropriate staff members.
- Design and arrange in-store displays
- Develop and present promotional material
Job Requirements:
- Minimum high school diploma, GED or equivalent education
- 3-5 years of retail sales management experience and a college degree preferred
- Excellent organizational, time management, prioritization and multitasking skills
- Experience with interviewing, hiring and evaluating candidates and assessing employee performance
- Basic math skills sufficient to complete orders, calculate inventory and manage point of sale stations
- Ability to reach overhead, bend, squat, kneel and carry products up to 50lb. multiple times daily in order to perform and cover all workfloor duties.
- Able to give clear directions and set expectations for staff.
- Demonstrated ability to lead by example

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
