Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced In-House Corporate Attorney with a strong background in the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) industry. The ideal candidate will oversee and approve all legal items and documents, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and regulations. They will provide strategic legal advice, manage corporate legal affairs, and support the legal needs of various departments within the company. The In-House Corporate Attorney will also be responsible for leading and guiding the paralegal team, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in all legal processes. This is a remote position, and the candidate must have a dedicated work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Legal Oversight:
- Oversee and approve all legal documents, contracts, and agreements.
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies and regulations.
- Provide strategic legal advice to senior management and various departments.
- Draft, review, and manage various contracts, including NDAs, MNDAs, Letters of Intent, Master Service Agreements, Statements of Work, Employment Contracts, and Non-Compete Agreements.
- Manage and maintain corporate records and filings.
- Handle trademarks and copyrights.
Corporate Legal Affairs:
- Oversee corporate governance and compliance matters.
- Conduct complex legal research and provide summaries and reports on various legal issues.
- Manage legal risks and provide solutions to mitigate potential legal issues.
- Assist with mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.
- Liaise with external legal counsel as needed.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Lead and guide the paralegal team, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in their work.
- Provide mentorship and support to the Senior and Junior Paralegals.
- Ensure all legal processes are conducted in accordance with company policies and regulations.
Other Responsibilities:
- Review, track, and monitor legislation impacting the company’s products and processes.
- Support litigation, mediation, arbitration, and responses to complaints.
- Assist with paperwork for regulatory bodies and compliance programs.
- Perform legal research.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a corporate attorney, preferably within the BPO industry.
- Strong understanding of corporate law and excellent research and writing skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 per year
