Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Sclerotherapy Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing and a proven ability to perform sclerotherapy procedures with precision and expertise. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, where you will play a key role in delivering high-quality care to our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Perform sclerotherapy procedures to treat varicose and spider veins under the direction of the medical team.
- Conduct patient assessments, including health history reviews and physical examinations, to determine suitability for sclerotherapy treatment.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and medical history.
- Administer sclerosing agents using appropriate techniques to achieve optimal results.
- Monitor patients during and after procedures to assess for any adverse reactions or complications.
- Provide patient education on post-treatment care and follow-up instructions.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including treatment documentation and progress notes.
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure coordinated patient care and treatment outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of FL.
- Certification in sclerotherapy is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of vascular anatomy and physiology.
- Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Commitment to upholding the highest standards of patient care and safety.
