This position is part of a team which supports customer and in-house needs for parts; maintains an accurate inventory; loads and unloads delivery trucks; and maintains a neat and organized work area. This position is fast-paced and constantly moving. This position must be willing to help in other departments when assigned.
We are a global company specializing in the production of heavy-duty no-bake foundry equipment. Our company provides sales, service and support to customers worldwide.
Position responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Packing and unpacking of parts and equipment

Arrange shipments with appropriate providers (i.e., UPS, FedEx, LTL, etc.)

Stocking parts; Picking parts for customer orders and in-house assembly

Maintaining accurate inventory; quarterly cycle counts

Loading and unloading of trucks

Building of pallets/crates to specifications using table saw & other power tools

Maintaining clean work area and assisting with cleaning in other areas
Qualifications:
- Shipping & receiving experience – required
- Willing to train and use power tools – required; experience preferred
- Willing to train and operate a forklift – required; experience preferred

Experience with UPS, FedEx, and foreign shipment documents - preferred

Inventory control experience - preferred

Inventory system software experience – preferred; SAP is a plus

Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Must be able to stand/walk during the entire shift; navigate stairs; bend; kneel; reach overhead

Must have good verbal & written communication skills as well as computer skills

Must be dependable and have a good work ethic

Must be trainable and willing to learn

Must wear safety toe shoes and safety glasses at all times on Production floor

Must have reliable transportation to work

Must be authorized to work in the United States and pass a background check
Job Details:
- First shift, 8-hour shift; Monday-Friday; unpaid 30-minute daily lunch break

Anticipated work schedule is 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. These may change with the needs of the company, between 6:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

Occasional mandatory overtime as directed, including weekends
