Position Description: QA Supervisor
Reports To: QA Manager
Brief Job Description: As a Quality Assurance Tech, you will support all operations that fall within assigned department responsibilities. The Tech must have a working knowledge on SQF, FDA and HACCP requirements.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Responsible for enforcing company rules and regulations per the Handbook guidelines.

Responsible for the monitoring of all aspects of the quality function

Responsible for the motivation of hourly team members
-
Responsible for implementing and maintaining Food Safety procedures with the production team members partnering with Production Management.

Responsible for training the team members on the critical points of the food safety system
-
Responsible for insuring the quality, food safety and consistency of all NF&B foods products
-
Responsible for maintaining all safety related initiatives including, but not limited to, safety programs and incentives
-
Must be capable of learning and using with a high skill level the Accounting and Manufacturing systems used by NF&B, in addition to Label View Label program.

Must be capable of learning and using with a high skill level the ETQ system used by Truco Ent.

Maintain Key Performance Indicators for the operations to help meet production specifications and product standards, as well as reduce overall cost, maximize productivity and profitability

Comply with QA Programs and make sure that other employees are in compliance

Perform pre-operational inspection after the sanitation crew and before production
-
Responsible for verifying the concentration of sanitizers
-
Responsible for verifying the calibration program
-
Responsible for monitoring that GMP’s are being followed by all employees
-
Responsible for monitoring the temperature of the processing rooms, coolers, freezers
-
Responsible for monitoring, and recording product attributes during production and comparing against Specifications
-
Responsible for pulling samples for the laboratory, retains, and customers
-
Responsible for placing out of spec product on hold and maintain the hold log
-
Responsible for recording and inspecting all ingredients or products. received in the facility
-
Be familiar with declared food allergens

Be familiar with SQF requirements and documentation
-
Be familiar with FDA HACCP programs

Responsible for preparing paperwork for the day and filing at the end of the day

Be VERY detail oriented, self motivated, and inquisitive

Work Week: Full Time - 30 hours or more per week

Minimum Experience and Education: High School Diploma/GED or 6 Months Food & Beverage Industry - Quality Control/Quality Assurance Experience or relatable experience.

Language: Must Speak, Read and Write English-Fluently

Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time
