Eaton’s IS AER FMC division is currently seeking a Human Resources Assistant. This position is based at our Jackson, MS location.
The Jackson facility has approximately 500 (300+ bargaining unit and 200+ salaried) employees and is a leader in the design, development, manufacture and delivery of aerospace hydraulic components, systems and services to the global aftermarket and OEM markets.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $52499.97 - $76999.96 a year.

The HR Assistant will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the human resource department and other supporting departments.
- Support all internal and external HR-related inquiries or requests.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.

Serve as point of contact for vendors and facilitate PPE needs for employees.

Assist with the recruitment process by maintaining candidate communications, work with recruitment team, attend recruiting events, etc.

Serve as community outreach coordinator for the site.

Assist with performance management procedures and Talenthub milestones.

Schedule meetings, interviews, HR events and maintain agendas.

Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations.

Execute onboarding and offboarding procedures; conduct and coordinate new hire orientations.

Produce and submit reports on general HR activity.

Submit payroll changes, resolve any payroll errors, and answer employee questions.
Required (Basic) Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.

Minimum of two (2) years of experience in Human Resources or other administrative role.

No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within 60 miles of the Jackson, MS facility will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Preferred Qualifications:

Associate’s degree in human resources from an accredited university.

Professional in Human Resources (PHR), Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), Society for Human Resource Management – Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), or Society for Human Resource Management – Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification may substitute for two years of experience.

Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
