RPM Machinery is currently seeking a team member for our parts department. We pride ourselves in building great teams with team members that possess our company’s core values.
Since 1965, RPM Machinery has grown to become a leading CASE construction equipment dealer in Indiana. Through our 4 locations we service and support the full line of equipment from CNH Industrial and other leading construction equipment brands. We are also your best source for construction rental equipment from CASE, Toro, Indeco, Rayco, Morbark, and more.
Job Responsibilities

- Perform all warehousing duties, shipping and receiving duties as necessary.
- Provide excellent service to our service department and customers.
- Perform a variety of customer service and inventory duties related to the receiving, sale and delivery of parts and accessories.
- Assist counter parts sales and customer service responsibilities.
- Maintain customer goodwill by greeting and acknowledging all customers he/she comes in contact with.
- Assist in keeping parts department clean and orderly.
- Provide service technicians with parts as required.
- Update and maintain merchandising displays.
- Control showroom inventory to ensure maximum sales and customer satisfaction.
- Perform routine housekeeping tasks that maintain and enhances the cleanliness of products and the retail sales area.
- When working the parts counter, follow prescribed cash, credit, and check processing procedures of the dealership.
- Process cores, warranties, and new return merchandise as required at point of sale.
- Attend training as prescribed by management to maintain proficiency in his/her job description.
- Uses dealership equipment and resources safely and proficiently.
- Perform other tasks as required by Parts Manger.
- Keep himself/herself groomed and clothed per the dealership guidelines.
- Verify receiving documents.
- Follow up on shortages and expedite by reporting to Parts Manager.
- Demonstrate our commitment to superior customer service and ethical business practices.
- Maintain up to date technical training.
- Demonstrate an interest in individual development and the development of our parts department.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the Parts and Service District Manager.
Other Functions
- Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.
Physical Demands
Requires the repetitive and constant use of both hands.
Frequently required to bend, stoop, crouch, reach, handle parts and accessories, and lift in excess of 80 pounds.
This is a hybrid position that requires being on your feet and moving about the building as well as spending time at a desk entering and updating data in the computer.
Reporting
This position reports to the Parts Manager.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
