ACCOUNTING/PURCHASING COORDINATOR
We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented and accounting minded individual to join our team. The Accounting/Purchasing Coordinator plays a critical role in the success of our projects and the company. In addition to making sure materials arrive on time, are stored safely and delivered to the site safely, they provide important support to the project managers and other operations personnel. As a member of the Finance and Accounting team, this role will provide cost analysis and purchasing related support across the entire organization.
The successful candidate will be proficient at data input, documentation management, and professional communication. With versatility and accuracy, this hands-on role involves a range of tasks that contribute to the smooth running of our organization. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBITLITIES:
- Provides support in Credit card/expense report reconciliation and purchase
- Prepare related monthly account reconciliations for review
- Perform data entry tasks and participate in month end close process
- Utilize Microsoft Excel to manage data and create reports
- Support external auditors during year-end audit process
- Place new purchase orders and monitor existing orders with vendors.
- Ensure inventory levels required for operations and daily load lists are adequately stocked
- Assist with requisitions for other inventory items, consumables and office supplies
- Assist with month end inventory of job supplies and job cost reporting
- Creates and prepares various purchasing and expense reporting utilizing Excel and Sage 300
- Organize and maintain physical and electronic files, documents, and records for easy retrieval and reference

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- 5 years of accounting, inventory control and/or purchasing experience
- Working knowledge of ERP systems, specifically procurement or inventory management
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft 365, Sage 300 CRE is a plus
