**Job Title: Medication Aide** **Job Summary:** We are seeking a dedicated Medication Aide to join our team. The Medication Aide will be responsible for assisting in the administration of medications to residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing quality care and ensuring the well-being of our residents. **Duties:** - Administer medications to residents according to prescribed schedules and physician orders. - Monitor residents for any adverse reactions to medications and report any concerns to the nursing staff. - Assist residents with activities of daily living, including but not limited to bathing, dressing, and grooming. - Document medication administration and resident care accurately in electronic health records systems such as Epic and Cerner. - Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive care plans are followed. - Provide compassionate care and support to residents in hospice care, assisted living, or nursing home settings. - Perform vital sign measurements and assist with tube feeding as needed. **Skills:** - Proficiency in medication administration procedures. - Knowledge of medical terminology and understanding of vital signs. - Experience working in hospice care, assisted living, or nursing home environments. - Familiarity with electronic health records systems such as Epic and Cerner. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced medical office setting. - Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams. *Please note that the above job description for a Medication Aide is general in nature and specific responsibilities may vary based on the needs of the healthcare facility.*
