Job Purpose:

The responsibilities of the front desk clerk include although are not limited to the following:
- Greet and respond in an appropriate manner to the needs of guests and employees
- Count daily cash and prepare for shift audits
- Answer and direct all incoming calls
- Assist guests during their entire stay, including check-in and check-out, discrepancies and service requests
- Input and maintain daily guest information
- Assist General Manager in daily book keeping
- Maintain professionalism and keep the front desk and lobby area clean at all times
- Communication between the entire staff, management and guest is a very important key success to any business.
- Report to work on time, well groomed, in uniform, with name-tag, ready to work, and wearing a smile.
- You will be assisting not only only front desk duties, but all other areas as well, and cross training is mandatory.
- Prior hotel experience is preferred.
- Ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, computer familiarity, excellent customer service skills, and outgoing personality and enjoys working with the public.
