The incumbent would coordinate and conduct the daily accounting activities of the office. Duties include:
- Making the appropriate journal entries,
- Preparing the general ledger for month-end reporting, and,
- Account reconciliation.
- The incumbent will also conduct limited payroll audits of participating employers to ensure compliance with the collective bargaining agreement.
A working knowledge of generally accepted accounting practices is essential as are excellent communication skills. Course work in accounting and double entry bookkeeping may be substituted for experience.
The incumbent would be eligible to participate in all of the benefit programs, including Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO and a retirement program at no cost to the individual.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $34.00 - $44.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 30 per week
