Position Overview:
The Maintenance Technician will oversee the Building Maintenance and Housekeeping department and will report to the General Manager. Key responsibilities in this position include supervising the day-to-day function of the Building Maintenance and Housekeeping departments, preserving and improving the condition of the Club’s infrastructure, and ensuring all facilities are operating safely and efficiently. This position is hands-on and requires the ability to successfully prioritize short and long-term projects while balancing the dynamic needs of a club facility.
Position Responsibilities:
- Supervise the Building Facility Maintenance and Housekeeping department.
- Oversee the infrastructure related to the Clubhouse, pool, bocce and tennis courts and other course facilities including on-course comfort stations
- Conduct routine inspections of premise and equipment
- Handling basic repairs and maintenance
- Collaborate with Club Leadership team on the next 3-5 years of strategic goals and planning as it relates to Club facilities.
- Assist the Club Leadership team in the management of capital improvement projects as assigned.
- Ability to work with, direct, or source partners for key areas that have been/need to be outsourced.
- Oversee the HVAC, electrical, plumbing, elevator services, A/V, cable TV, internet systems for all facilities.
- Hands on experience troubleshooting and repairing Clubhouse equipment, including industrial kitchen's critical components
- Evaluate and implement best practices for the Building Maintenance and Housekeeping departments.
- Participate in weekly Executive Leadership meetings and maintain ongoing project list by priority and department.
- Manage the Club’s security systems
- Manages purchasing and supply management for Building Facilities and Housekeeping, with support from Housekeeping Supervisor.
- Establish a process to manage required inspections and ensure all inspections are completed timely.
- Involvement with the Club’s monthly Safety Committee meetings and safety trainings.

Requirements:
- Related Degree from a technical college
- Experience in hospitality or hotel management preferred.
- 3+ years of professional experience
- Working knowledge in electrical, plumbing, lighting, and boiler systems and industrial kitchens.
- Proficient in low voltage electrical wiring and in information technology infrastructure, including network switches and wireless access points.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including verbal and written.
- Strong time management skills.
- Efficient in all Microsoft Office programs.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
