RoofingDirect.com is seeking an experienced and motivated person to join our team! A successful Digital Marketing Specialist will provide creative ideas to help achieve our goals. You will have administrative duties in developing and implementing marketing strategies across multiple channels.
As a Digital Marketing Specialist, you will collaborate with our marketing and advertising team in all stages of marketing campaigns. Your insightful contribution will help develop, expand and maintain our marketing channels.
Ultimately, you will gain broad experience in marketing and should be prepared to enter any fast-paced work environment.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinates with our existing marketing vendors and works closely with the Digital Operations Manager
- Manages all ad campaigns for digital marketing channels including Google, Bing, and Facebook
- Develops custom ad copy and generates other creative assets to be used on all digital advertising platforms
- Monitors campaign performance and makes adjustments as needed and under the direction of the Digital Operations Manager
- Performs routine campaign management tasks to ensure alignment with the rest of our digital marketing strategies
- Oversees ongoing optimization projects to improve ad performance specific to each marketing channel
- Stays up to date on all relevant changes to each marketing channel and advises on any updates that need to be made in order to keep our campaigns and/or account in good standing
- Spearheads our organic marketing efforts by overseeing the SEO health of our product listings and web pages
- Under the direction of the Digital Operations Manager, comes up with original content specific to our business and industry
- Creates, edits, and publishes 2-3 unique blog articles per month
- Manages all Roofing Direct social media accounts and develops and schedules posts on a weekly basis
- Creates keyword specific content for products, categories, and brands
- Manages our email marketing platform and oversees all campaigns within it
- Under the direction of the Digital Operations Manager, manages all customer lists and the creation of campaigns and journeys/flows
- Designs and builds custom email content under the direction of the Digital Operations Manager that is industry compliant and optimized for multiple ESPs and devices
- Schedules and sends emails based on optimal time and date windows from historical data
- Monitors campaign performance in comparison to business goals and industry averages
- Creates customized dashboards and reports tailored to specific performance metrics that are updated daily and monthly
- Miscellaneous other projects as assigned with an emphasis on improving site health and search engine optimization
Skills and qualifications:
Required:
- Minimum 2-3 years of Digital Advertising experience with Google and Microsoft (experience in managing Shopping, Performance Max, and Search Ad campaigns is preferred)
- Familiarity with Google’s Advertising Platform (Analytics, Merchant Center, Search Console)
- Proficient with various social media platforms as well as the data tracking tools associated with them
- Understanding of core SEO principals and best practices
- Very strong organization and time management skills
- Ability to translate complex topics into common language
- Ability to quickly learn and process new information
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members and supervisor
- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects at once with a high degree of accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Office – Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
Nice to have:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field
- Experience working for an eCommerce business
- Familiarity with other marketing platforms including Facebook and TikTok
- Experience with email marketing tools such as Klaviyo
