Ross Point Truck Repair has been a family owned and operated business serving the local communities and valued customers from throughout North America for nearly 40 years. Our clientele consists of anyone from some of the nation’s largest fleets to the local individual who owns and operates one truck. We are currently looking for someone who can hold the functions and duties of office administrator to join our team. This position has the potential of advancement to the managerial position and duties. The key to success for this position is a positive attitude and an acute awareness and attention to details.
Essential Job Functions:
- Process and post all invoices, credit card payments, checks and ACH payments.
- Prepare customer statements, pay vendor statements after accounting for all invoices.
- Stock and maintain office supplies and parts inventory.
- Process employee time sheets daily.
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including mail and email.
- Maintain filing systems and ensure proper documentation and record keeping.
- Assist the General Manager in running an efficient, organized workplace.
- Maintain high standards of accuracy and assure compliance with company and other applicable policies and procedures.
- Greet walk-in customers and answer phones.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain vendor/customer relations.
- Acquire parts from various vendors, whether online ordering, call in, or parts run with company vehicle.
Essential Job Skills:
- Knowledge of computer software applications in maintaining calendars, word processing, spreadsheets (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Basic knowledge of QuickBooks online: entering invoices, payments, etc.
- Strong attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials.
- Organization, time management, problem solving/resolution, and decision making.
- High level of interpersonal skills to resolve A/R and A/P issues.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information and situations.
- High level of demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Knowledge of office administrative procedures and knowledge of the use and operation of standard office equipment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing tasks and demands.
- Ability to lift to 40lbs.

Note: this position requires working Saturdays on rotation. This also allows for a three day weekend every other week.
