THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY:
A leading role in achievement of our company business strategy and objectives through the provision of high quality, expert and pragmatic human resources advice and services with a strong emphasis on retention, employee relations and engagement.
BACKGROUND PROFILE:
- Ability to own and be a local leader in all things HR.
- Foresee, create and implementing strategies that guarantee the success of the HR focus’ and goals.
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with senior management.
- Willing to challenge existing processes, recommend and implement improvements.
- Willing to embrace the Company’s growth and support with project initiatives.
- Experience with managing US employment related matters (state and federal knowledge), including discrimination and unemployment claims.
- Benefits management experience (administer open enrolment and manage relationship with existing benefits providers).
- Experience with coaching and advising leaders daily.
- Experience with implementing retention and engagement strategies.
- Management of the payroll/HR PEO relationship.
DESIRED SKILL SET:
- Someone who embraces a global reporting line; confident and a self-starter with great communication skills.
- Ability to understand the external market (understand what is happening in market i.e. large redundancies, competitors’ recruitment, changes to legislation).
- Professional networking.
- Talent Management. Ability to understand what key talent looks like from both inside and outside of our business and have an opinion when it comes to appointing key positions.
