The Industrial Strategies Division (ISD) is seeking an Air Resources Supervisor I to manage the Emerging Fuels Section (EFS). The section is responsible for managing and implementing regulations and protocols for fuels, including gasoline, diesel, alternative diesel fuels, and alternative fuels. ETS participates in the development of consensus-based fuel standards (e.g. ASTM) and conducts multimedia evaluations pursuant to Health and Safety Code S43830.8. The section also supports other fuel and fuel additive related programs across all California Air Resources Board (CARB) divisions.
Under direction of the Chief of the Oil and Gas and Greenhouse Gas Mitigation Branch, the Manager would be responsible for coordinating and supervising the work of the Section, including the development and implementation of programs regulating criteria pollutant and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from fuels.
