SUMMARY: Responsible for ware washing, surface cleaning, and moving food and equipment to locations around the restaurant. The steward will follow standards set by the Executive Steward, ensuring a consistent high quality product is delivered to guests.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Wash wares (to include but not limited to pots, pans, china, flatware, glassware)
Store wares properly in accordance of company standards
Clean walls, floors and equipment
Move and store equipment as directed
Deliver products to food service areas
Maintain cleanliness of the dish rooms and dish machine in a sanitary and efficient manner
Special projects and assignments as business dictates
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Previous experience in the restaurant industry preferred
Effective communication skills
Organized with attention to detail
Reliable and dependable with the ability to work late nights, weekends and event days
Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment
Ability to multi-task efficiently
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Ability to move 50 pounds
Ability to work for extended periods of time
