```Duties``` - Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience - Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar - Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional and timely manner - Verify patient insurance information and collect co-pays or payments - Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations - Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents - Coordinate referrals to specialists and follow-up appointments as needed - Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient operations
```Qualifications```
- High school diploma or equivalent required - Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar role preferred
- Proficient in using Medical office software systems -Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is a plus
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
