DISHWASHER
JOB TITLE: Dishwasher
HOURLY RATE: 15.69 + TIPS
REPORTS TO: Kitchen P.I.C. or
Kitchen Manager
JOB SUMMARY: Maintains cleanliness and organization of kitchen dishwashing
areas. Maintains dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment in a sanitary and organized manner.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Washes dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and machinery parts

Returns cleaned items to proper locations

Keeps pot sinks clean
-
Retrieves and empties bus carts of dirty dishes
-
Removes garbage and recyclables to proper receptacles inside or outside of building

Cleans and restocks restrooms on an hourly basis
-
Brings pickles to Server stations
-
Performs other cleaning assignments throughout restaurant or surrounding building
-
Helps Porter with Stock rotation
-
Helps Prep Cooks if time allows
Performs other related duties and assignments as required

JOB GOAL SUMMARY: Keeps all work areas and Server stations properly supplied with clean dishes, utensils, pots and pans to insure a smooth flow throughout the restaurant. Keeps inside and outside of restaurant clean and tidy.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge of cleaning chemicals use helpful

Must be able to work holidays and weekends

Must be 16 years or older to operate machinery

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds

Constant lifting, reaching, bending, stooping, pushing, reaching

Good manual dexterity

Able to work in hot or cold enclosed areas

Possible hazards include but are not limited to: back strains, sprains, slipping, tripping, falls, burns, cuts or injuries from misuse of chemicals or equipment
