Responsibilities:
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans using dishwashers or by hand
- Place clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areas
- Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly condition
- Stock supplies such as food or utensils in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, or salad bars
- Sweep or scrub floors
- Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas
- Clean food preparation areas, facilities, or equipment
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred
- Knowledge of bussing and culinary practices is a plus
- Experience in catering or food service industry is beneficial
- Familiarity with food handling and safety regulations is desired
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
As a dishwasher, you will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently will contribute to the smooth operation of the establishment.
Please note that this position may require standing for long periods of time and lifting heavy objects. The ability to work well as part of a team is essential.
