Job Purpose:
MSC Cruises, the world's third largest and most rapidly growing cruise line brand is expanding its Accounting & Finance team in the USA. Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, the Accounts Payable Coordinator will predominantly support Accounts Payable and Revenue tasks. This is a hybrid position requiring 2 days\/week in the office. This position is temporary and part-time, requiring a commitment of 20 to 25 hours per week. This is not a permanent position but a role created to support the Finance team as a team member will be out on maternity leave.

Skills\/Requirements:
- Fluent English (oral and written skills)
- Associates Degree or higher education in Accounting, Finance, or Business
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in Accounting, Finance or Business (preferred)
- Proficient computer, technical, and troubleshooting skills
- Strong MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Match, Pivot Tables, etc)
- Ability to perform variance Analysis and effectively communicate differences\/results
- Ability to work flexibly to the needs of the business and under pressure
- Self-starter with a high-energy attitude and a great sense of urgency
- Extremely organized and detail-oriented
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with PO and invoice submission for Marketing, Commercial and Communications departments
- Track each invoice against the budget\/project
- Process intercompany rebilling of Marketing, Commercial and Communications activities
- Obtain and record month-end accruals list for Marketing, Commercial and Communications budgets
- Variance analysis actual vs budget\/forecast
- Assist departments with inquiries\/requests on forecasting and payments
- Assist with quarterly forecast preparation and submission
- Manage monthly purchasing credit card reconciliation and schedules
- Weekly and monthly cash flow reporting
