We’re searching for a motivated individual eager to provide five-star customer service to guests of The Docent's Collection, curating a personalized experience from start to finish. As a part of our Guest Experience Team, you are the first person to greet customers. Our Guest Experience Team will sell the property in accordance with pricing guidelines, establish guest profiles using customized preferences, curate and arrange local cultural and culinary experiences, arrange transportation, and develop new partnerships to enhance the guest experience. Our ideal candidate is outgoing and confident, enjoys working with people, and pays close attention to the details.

Some Key Areas of Responsibilities include:
-
Welcome all guests using a five-star service approach, customized to their personal preferences.
- Confirm bookings through established pricing guidelines.
-
Act as the primary point of contact for guests, curating customized experiences using their personal preferences and guest profiles.
-
Develop local partnerships to gather in-depth knowledge about the surrounding cultural and culinary experiences.
-
Suggest and arrange activities, excursions, and transportation for guests.
-
Handle, respond, and/or distribute digital and analog messages, calls and mail; including making reservations.

Respond to any issues or complaints made by guests using the LEARN model.

Ensure accuracy of all guest invoices.
Requirements:
-
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
-
1 year of experience in the hospitality industry as a hotel front desk agent, hotel receptionist, or guest service specialist preferred
-
Knowledge of the local area to make recommendations for a variety of services
-
Excellent time management skills, organizational skills, customer service skills, and interpersonal skills
-
Comfortable taking telephone calls and mitigating stressful situations
-
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and reservation management systems.
