Roosevelt University seeks an Academic Advisor to meet with continuing, new, and prospective students in the Department of Education. This position will advise students seeking degrees/minors in Early Childhood, Elementary Education, Middle School Education, Secondary Education, Special Education through traditional or alternative/residency pathways. The academic advisor will provide accurate, current curricular information on undergraduate programs in the Department of Education; assist in short-term and long-term academic program planning; refer students to other support services/units on campus; provide assistance with program changes (class drops and adds and major changes), and career plans; assist in recruitment and retention efforts which progresses our students toward graduation.
This is a full-time, non-exempt, hybrid position located on the Chicago campus. This position reports to the Director of Academic Advising.
Some evening and weekend hours required.
