The Opportunity:
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for performing all duties required to provide high quality, cost effective, and timely transportation of heavy equipment between jobsites, maintain accurate data. Duties and responsibilities of the position are both strategic and tactical. This position is located in our corporate office in Houston, TX.

Responibilites:
Serve as primary POC for BOL’s for incoming and outgoing LTL, FTL, and OD shipments

Serve as primary POC for BOL’s for incoming and outgoing LTL, FTL, and OD shipments

Source and coordinate pickup and delivery of LTL, FTL, and OD shipments

Develop KPIs for evaluating haulers (safety, compliance, quality, cost, timeliness, etc.)

Source and vet potential haulers

Maintain data log of all loads to allow for cost savings deep analysis

Manage GLDD logistics accounts and reconcile invoice discrepancies

Reconcile purchasing card for fuel

Coordinate business performance reviews with key vendors

Monitor compliance with logistics strategy

May be assigned other duties as necessary
Qualifications:

B.S. degree in Business, Construction Management, or other relevant program, or 3 years equivalent experience

Good communication skills

Ability to prioritize duties and multi-task

Strong computer skills

Strong administrative and organizational skills
