Job Description:
The Distribution Manager will be responsible for managing the end-to-end distribution process for all our cannabis products. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing distribution networks in highly regulated industries, with a particular focus on compliance with state and federal regulations in the cannabis industry. The Distribution Manager will also be responsible for optimizing inventory levels, managing logistics service providers (internal and external), implementing and operating technology solutions to improve distribution processes, managing distribution and delivery routes, managing delivery drivers with a focus on compliance and accuracy, and tracking performance metrics for the distribution network.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage the distribution process for all cannabis products, ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations

Maintain communication with suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders in the distribution process, navigating the unique legal and regulatory landscape of the cannabis industry

Optimize inventory levels to ensure timely delivery while minimizing storage costs

Evaluate and select logistics service providers and negotiate contracts with them

Implement technology solutions to improve distribution processes

Manage and operate METRC

Manage all on-hand sale-ready inventory

Manage distribution and delivery routes, ensuring compliance and accuracy

Manage delivery drivers, ensuring compliance and accuracy

Manage Order Coordinators - ensuring compliance, accuracy, and fulfillment cycle timelines

Track and report on performance metrics for the distribution network
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or related field

Minimum of 5 years of experience managing distribution networks in highly regulated industries, with a particular focus on compliance with state and federal regulations in the cannabis industry

2+ years of METRC regulatory system experience

Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills

Experience using technology solutions to improve distribution processes

Experience using state mandated seed-to-sale tracking and inventory system

Strong understanding of inventory management, logistics service provider management, and delivery driver management.
Work Environment:
This work environment can be loud, with large machinery operating 24 hours a day and two departments working side by side. The Employee may be exposed to cleaning chemicals and intense smells from different products. The environment is cool as our facility is kept at 68 degrees or lower to stabilize the chocolate.

Compensation:
This position starts at $65,000
