An Inside Sales Representative, or Salesperson, sells products or services to either consumers or other businesses. Their main duties include locating new sales opportunities through sales methods like lead follow up calling, attending trade shows, chamber events, marketing channels and building mailing lists, negotiating sales terms and providing product demonstrations. Show room tours, sales events!
Sales Representative duties and responsibilities
Sales Representatives use skills in communication and sales to highlight the advantages of a product or service. Sales representatives are often expected to complete the following duties:
· Develop meaningful relationships with customers to encourage trust and loyalty
· Follow up on cold and warm leads to further the sales process
· Understand and demonstrate the product or service to the customer
· Set and meet sales goals and objectives set by leadership
· Follow the Roof and Realm 10 points of contact for closing results
· Improve sales skills to increase sales success rates and conversion rates
· Provides tracking and data to management including target marketing locations
· Works with marketing to improve leads and capture of new clients
· Follows up with all past non sold and sold clients as directed by management
· Learns and understands modular construction and the benefits of modular construction
Sales person will work in our Concord, CA office 5 days a week and occasional weekends
We are looking for a motivated, competitive, and well-spoken inside sales representative to join our sales team. An inside sales rep will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. The inside sales representative will be responsible for developing new leads, communicating with customers, understanding their needs, and ensuring a smooth sales process. You must be comfortable making dozens of calls per day, working with channel partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects, closing sales and meeting targets.
Responsibilities
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
- Understand customer needs and requirements
- Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure
- Close sales and achieve quarterly quotas
- Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory
- Team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals
Requirements
- Proven inside sales experience
- Track record of over-achieving quota
- Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day
- Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools
- Experience working with a CRM
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Strong listening and presentation skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
