A leading financial services corporation is seeking a dynamic Banking Sales Specialist. The primary focus of this role is to develop and expand business relationships with small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and to enhance relationships with existing customers by offering a range of banking services.

Develop new business relationships with SMEs by offering various banking products such as loans, trade finance, foreign exchange, deposits, and more.

Contribute to the division's growth by increasing profits and expanding the customer base through new business development.

Coordinate with the Head Office to gather information about new companies starting business in the US.

Research existing companies operating in the US to explore potential new business relationships.

Expand business with existing customers by offering a diverse range of banking products, including loans, trade finance, foreign exchange, deposits, and others.

Enhance the division's profitability through increased business with current clients.

Collaborate with the Head Office to gather information about the business development of existing customers within the US.

Develop strong relationships with prospective customers.

Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers through regular communication.

Gather information regarding customers’ businesses and industries.

Meet customers' requirements by addressing transaction-related questions and troubleshooting issues.

Provide financial information and support to customers.

Analyze creditworthiness for credit-related customers and create necessary reports.

Gather KYC (Know Your Customer) documents and assign KYC risk ratings to customers. Monitor these ratings regularly.

Resolve compliance-related issues concerning customers' transactions.

Maintain and update customer files.

Perform other administrative duties as assigned by the Unit Head, DGM, or GM.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline.

In-depth knowledge of financial products, credit policies, procedures, and banking regulations.

Excellent analytical skills with the ability to effectively analyze financial issues and develop appropriate solutions.

Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Japanese.

Exceptional organizational and planning skills, capable of managing multiple concurrent transactions and projects.

Strong team orientation with the ability to understand the perspectives and priorities of others and to develop and maintain relationships across departments.

Flexibility to work variable hours as needed.

Bilingual proficiency in English and Japanese.
