POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Group Dining and Hospitality Events Coordinator will contribute to the successful creation and delivery of world-class group dining, in-suite hospitality, and event experiences at Fontainebleau Las Vegas by supporting the Group Dining and Hospitality Events department in all aspects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:

Create and maintain a work environment which promotes teamwork, performance, feedback, recognition, mutual respect, and employee satisfaction

Manage daily departmental tasks including reporting, data entry, daily distribution, change log distribution, daily GEO meeting, etc.

Develop and maintain all filing systems for department operations

Answer telephones and direct calls to appropriate departments. Retrieve and distribute departmental mail and email

Filter and input inquiries into Amadeus, Triple Seat, Seven Rooms and assign accordingly as applicable

Assist team in providing service levels resulting in maximum profitability and the highest guest satisfaction

Assist team in preparing for site visits, pre-planning meetings and day of execution

Assist team in generating group dining, in-suite and hospitality event prospectus, contracts, and event orders
-
Follow all departmental policies, procedures, and SOPs
-
Continually audit office management and administration systems to implement improvements where necessary and keep office supplies stocked

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma or equivalent required

Hotel experience in Group Dining, Hospitality, and In-Suite operations preferred

Minimum of one (1) years of luxury, guest service experience

Proficient in Amadeus, Seven Rooms, and Triple Seat a plus but not required

Provide the highest level standards of service without sacrificing quality
-
Ability to work under pressure and manage stressful situations during busy periods
-
Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
-
Proficient in Microsoft application tools, including but not limited to Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
-
Successfully communicate and present conceptual ideas and detailed design, both verbally and visually with different stakeholders
-
Demonstrated ability in maintaining consistent, high-quality service levels
-
Ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive guest and company information
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

Member must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in English may also be required.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

SALARY
$25 per hour
