Full Job Description
We are looking for a full time, experienced Assistant Staffing coordinator to assist with a variety of tasks such as daily staffing, payroll, resident transportation and equipment tracking. You will be the one to ensure that the company complies with all relevant laws regarding employment. A staffing coordinator must be an excellent communicator, able to foster relationships with both employees and external vendors. They should ideally have experience in human resources procedures. The goal is to ensure that the company’s staffing requirements are always met and employees work in a friendly, supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with all staffing needs and operations of the company
- Support candidate screening and hiring processes and facilitate procedures after hiring
- Assist in preparation and execution of orientation and training plans
- Assist in addressing timekeeping and time off requests
- Ensures compliance with licensure and certification requirements
- Assist with completing payroll to ensure correct employee compensation
- Ensure compliance with internal and external policies and regulations
- Assist with arranging resident transportation as needed
- Assist with facilitating pharmacy and equipment returns as needed
- Prepare and submit reports on staffing operations as requested
Skills
- Prior experience as staffing coordinator or similar position
- Experience in planning and execution of HR plans
- Solid knowledge of relevant legal regulations (equal employment opportunity, relocation, laws, visa procedures etc.)
- Knowledge of staffing policies, procedures and best practices
- Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Reliable with a respect to confidentiality
- Solid computer skills, with experience in use of Time and Attendance / SBV systems preferred
Salary - From $20.00 an hour
Job Type - Full-time, 8 hour shift & On call
Qualifications - Nursing Home staffing: 1 year (Required)
Education - High school or equivalent (Preferred)
