Position Summary
This is an ONSITE position located in Washington, D.C.
National Capitol Contracting (NCC) is seeking a Conference Event Lead to support the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) HQ. In this role you will work closely with teammates to ensure conference room availability and operational order every day, while maintaining communications with EPA customers and direct contacts. You will also be responsible for service requests, scheduling, and running of live, daily events. Team lead is a key role in acting as liaison between the technology and site coordination, and reporting updates to EPA leadership.
Key Areas of Responsibility

Manage facility spaces and ensuring their functionality.

Monitor facility equipment and preventing "downtime" of service.

Manage inventory on Audio Visual equipment, as well as office & administration equipment.

Provide weekly and monthly status reports to leadership.

Update team reference documents for uniform communications.

Provide technical support for:

All onsite and virtual MS Teams, Zoom and In-Person meetings.

Event dry-runs and virtual meetings.

Any logistical questions that arise.

Handle and assist Tech Support during any major and/or minor Audio Visual issues by troubleshooting, resolving, and identifying major issues, and coordinating with federal facility and direct contract management to establish a plan of resolution.
Minimum Requirements

Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance (must pass a criminal background and credit check).

Bachelors Degree in related field.

4+ years experience in a similar role.

Teams, Sharepoint, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience working with and communicating with C-Level executives or higher.

Previous leadership experience.
Special Position Requirements
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7am-6pm, not to exceed 8 hours a day. Flexible rotation with other team members.
Environmental/Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods of time, lift up to 20lbs.
