Anchor Talent has partnered with an aggressively growing construction company looking to hire their next Project Manager to run the DFW market. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing steel projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role does require a thorough understanding of the steel industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and specifications.
- Monitor project progress and adjust plans as needed to ensure successful project delivery.
- Ensure all fabrication and construction activities comply with industry standards, project specifications, and safety regulations.
- Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring cost control and profitability
- Ensure all project documentation is accurate, up-to-date and properly archived.
- Prepare and regularly report project(s) progress to customer and stakeholders.
- Manage and negotiate all change orders as necessary
- Manage and monitor vendor and subcontractor relationships
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field
- PMP certification preferred
- 7+ years in steel industry with 4+ years as a Project Manager in the steel industry specifically with commercial structures
- Strong understanding of industry trends, market dynamics, and customer needs.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Compensation: $90,000 - $100,000+ DOE and Certifications
