Job Summary:
The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for a wide range of human resources functions within the organization including but not limited to recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, employee engagement and HR administrative functions. This role is crucial in shaping company culture, fostering teamwork, and ensuring effective implementation of HR processes throughout the organization.
Duties and Responsibilities

Lead, oversee, and execute the entire new hire onboarding and orientation process from inception to completion, ensuring a seamless and successful onboarding experience.

Act as the primary point of contact for employees regarding inquiries concerning HR policies, procedures, and administrative matters.

Manage the entire recruitment process by coordinating interviews, conducting phone screenings, placing job ad’s, collaborating with managers, screening resumes, and utilizing the company's HR analytics system to make informed decisions about candidates.

Administer employee benefits, aid in open enrollment processes, and liaise with the company's broker to address inquiries related to benefits.

Review and validate invoices to ensure accuracy before submitting them for payment by the specified due date.

Assist with internal and external HR related inquiries or requests.

Handle minor employee relation matters and resolve them, while escalating significant issues to the Director for further action.

Contribute to the development and implementation of organizational and HR policies.

Manage and carry out the employee termination process effectively.

Generate and analyze HR metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement, prepare reports for management on HR-related activities and initiatives, and utilize data to make informed decisions and drive HR strategy.

Lead the employee engagement committee by conducting monthly meetings, coordinating sales celebrations, company events and other initiatives decided on by the committee.

Maintains inventory of office supplies and anticipates supply needs; ensures prompt ordering and receipt of supplies and delivers supplies to workstations as needed.

Perform administrative tasks for the Human Resources department and office as needed.

Education and Experience
-
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field.

2-5 years’ experience of experience in Human Resources.

SHRM-CP certification preferred.

Working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures.

Capable of establishing rapport with employees, comprehending their interpersonal requirements, and adapting communication methods to suit individual preferences.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Skilled problem solvers who can find effective solutions to complex issues.

Reliable self-starter with exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
