SUMMARY-MIDTOWN HOUSTON AREA -VALID Driver License
Monitor and track activities of all contractors and vendors in conjunction with standard operating security measures at loading dock. Performs all other relevant duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Coordinate, schedules, and directs all deliveries
Confirms and inspects all material deliveries by checking delivery against corresponding Purchasing Order.
Documents overage, shortages and/or damages (OS&D's) on Purchase Order before deliverer leaves.
Documents and returns rejected deliveries to vendor.
Acts as liaison with Purchasing, vendors, and staff to coordinate any corrections to purchase orders.
Acts as liaison with building tenants to coordinate shipping and receiving of material relevant to their operations.
Assists in the coordination of transaction between company and , tenants, and third party postal vendors such as U.P.S, FEDEX, etc.
Works with Supervisor for Buildings and Maintenance, Tenant Property Manager, and other facilities staff members in maintaining facility work orders.
Responsible for some minor warehousing and material handling at dock sites.
Coordinate activities of custodial staff as it relates to the loading dock and monitor trash disposal.
Initiates proactive measures to address communication issues, operating rules and procedures, and security concerns to ensure successful operation of the loading dock.
Ensures the adherence to Inventory Control regulations as they pertain to items leaving the facility via the loading dock.
Maintains a precise database for the purpose of tracking all contractors, vendors, and deliveries that enter through the loading dock.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the essential duties and responsibilities listed above. The qualifications listed below are representative of the education, experience, knowledge, skills and/or abilities required.
EDUCATION: High school degree or GED required.
EXPERIENCE: Three (3) years’ related experience required.
Proficiency with Windows 10 Microsoft Office 365: Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint; Web knowledge (helpful); Adobe PageMaker (helpful). Fast typing, editing, proofreading, and formatting. Prefer experience utilizing PeopleSoft software
work schedule and calendar will reflect that of the commercial tenants. He/She is required to work a minimum of 40 hours per week
